Every day, we’re amazed by the hard work our community does and in such difficult times it’s more important than ever to reward this hard work. That’s why we’re proud to introduce our newest community partner: Uniplaces.

I’ll explain a little bit more about what this all means below, but here’s the headline: all our editors now have an exclusive 20% discount off the Uniplaces booking fee!

For those of you who haven’t heard of Uniplaces before, I’d imagine you’re probably thinking that it’s just for students. That’s certainly what I’d initially thought when I first heard about them, but it wasn’t until long after I graduated when I first moved to Lisbon and used the website for the first time. I needed somewhere to stay quickly when I arrived, and I wasn’t having much luck with the housing market, so I found a really nice place just a ten-minute walk from the centre.

If you’ve ever lived abroad or even just moved to a new city, finding somewhere to live can be a huge strain, especially if you don’t speak the language. Step three: Let Uniplaces take care of the rest.

Some important points to consider:

  1. The code is reusable, so you can use it as many times as you like.
  2. The code is transferable, but to keep it exclusive please don’t share it with anyone you don’t know. This jeopardises the partnership for other members of the community.
  3. The code will get you 20% off the booking fee, but not off your rent or deposit.
